Thomas L. Johnson


Thomas L. Johnson

Thomas L. Johnson is the Chief Judge of the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 1966 and the University of Minnesota Law School in 1969. Following two years as a prosecutor for the City of Minneapolis, Judge Johnson spent 16 years in private practice. He joined the Office of Adminis-
trative Hearings as a Compensation Judge in 1987, and was appointed to the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals in 1992.

William R. Pederson


William R. Pederson

Judge Pederson graduated from the College of St. Thomas in 1971 and from William Mitchell College of Law in 1975. Before his appointment to the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals in 1998, Judge Pederson was a partner in the Minneapolis law firm of Pustorino, Pederson, Tilton & Parrington, where he practiced primarily in the area of workers' compensation law.

Miriam P. Rykken


Miriam P. Rykken

Judge Rykken graduated from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota, in 1976 and the University of Minnesota Law School in 1987. Judge Rykken was an attorney with the law firm of Aafedt, Forde, Gray and Monson, P.A. for twelve years, practicing primarily in the area of workers' compensation, and was appointed to the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals in June 1999.

 

David A. Stofferahn


David A. Stofferahn

Judge Stofferahn received a B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1969 and his J.D. from the Univer-
sity of Minnesota Law School in 1976. Judge Stofferahn was an attorney with the law firm of Sieben, Grose, and Von Holtum for 25 years, representing injured people in workers' compensa-
tion cases. He was appointed to the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals in April 2002.

 

Debra A. Wilson


Debra A. Wilson

Judge Wilson received a B.A. from Luther College in 1971, an M.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1973, and her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in 1981. She was an attorny with the firm of Fitch, Johnson, Larson and Walsh for five years practicing primarily in the area of workers' compen-
sation defense. Judge Wilson then served as a Compensation Judge at the Office of Administrative Hearings from 1986 until 1991 when she was appointed to the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals.
